Before joining Delenex, Dr. Titus Kretzschmar was Chief Scientific Officer (CSO) and Head of L.I.F.T. (Lonza Innovation for Future Technologies) of the Lonza Group in Basel. He assumed this position after Lonza had acquired amaxa AG (Cologne) in 2008, a leading transfection biotech company, where he was responsible for Research & Development from 2004 on. Prior to amaxa he worked at MorphoSys (Munich-Martinsried) where he led the development of the HuCAL® GOLD phage display antibody libraries.

After completion of his PhD thesis in biochemistry (Hannover/Germany) in 1992, and before joining MorphoSys in 1997, Titus first researched phage display of antibodies at Ciba-Geigy in Basel followed by studies of directed protein evolution at Novo Nordisk in Denmark.
